Director, Writer, Acting Coach
I spent the next twenty years directing numerous award winning shorts, five feature films, and episodes of TV drama, gaining a wide range of experience across film and television production.
My feature films include:
Stitches (2012) starring Ross Noble.
From the Dark (2014) starring BAFTA-winner Niamh Algar,
Let the Wrong One In (2021) starring Anthony Stuart Head. The film was nominated for an IFTA for Best Writer and Director.
I studied film at the National Film School in Dún Laoghaire, where my graduate short won Best Film at Sitges and Trieste International film festival.
Conor McMahon
My television work includes directing on Republic of Telly, and the Virgin Media drama Darklands.
Alongside directing, I teach acting regularly at Bow Street Academy and The Lir, working with actors on blocking, scene work and on-camera performance.
